0.0.0.0 is the default if you don't have an /etc/resolv.conf file or it
doesn't contain any "nameserver" lines.  And on some old versions of Unix
there were bugs in the handling of "nameserver 127.0.0.1", so using 0.0.0.0
was strongly recommended.
