Ping and BIND 9 problem

Hello,

We have an internal dns (bind 9.1.2). From win 2k clients and win xp
clients we get an time-out error when trying to ping with a name (ping
www.host.com), when we do a nslookup for that host we get a correct ip-
number. 
We have tried sevrel windows clients and its the same result.
Trying the same from Unix clients we allways get the correct answer.

Where is the problem, bind or windows? 

We would love some help.
