Ask them to look in the archives here from around late June/early July
2001 looking for mentions of the problems it caused when some guy
"Warren" set his servers up as authorative for the .com gTLD. They are
basically doing them same thing, only that it is with .th instead.

They should be able to confirm that rather easily using dig.
