a strange question about primary and secondary

If the secondary doesn't have a copy of what is on the primary, then
it's technically not a secondary. It's just a "rogue" primary. You'll
have to keep it manually in synch with the "real" primary.

By the way, "master" and "slave" are the preferred terms these days.
