BIND 8.3.1 and Error 5501 in Windows

Hi,

We recently upgraded from 8.2.5-REL to 8.3.1-REL (running on FreeBSD). Since
that time, a number of customers using Windows 2000 and Windows NT have
complained about seeing the following error in their logs.

5501	- The DNS server encountered a bad packet from 139.130.4.4.  Packet
processing leads beyond packet length.

Has anyone seen this, and what changed between 8.2.5 and 8.3.1 which may be
the cause? Note that I suspect the problem lies in Windows not Bind, I just
want to understand what changed in Bind.
