Zone Update

an unapproved update occurs when a W2K client try to dinamically register
its connection on BIND, and the named.conf is configured to not allow it.
It's a flag on lan connection properties, advanced and DNS tab on client.
Try to uncheck this flag.

Could someone explain to me why I get errors like those below in my log file
for named?

unapproved update from [ip.ip.ip.ip].1193

I have added the slave server in the named.conf file with acl and the slave
is set to fetch updates from me, but nothing happens as far as I've seen,
where am I doing wrong here?
