named not answering queries

Hi List,

I just recently set up an 8.1.2 server on a Solaris 2.7 box. On reboot, the
named process starts with
no errors (only states ready to answer queries). My resolv.conf is correct,
but the system
will not even resolve it's own name.... Any attempts to nslookup or dig
simply hang...

Does anyone have any idea what I'm missing??? Or even how to determine what
I'm missing???
