Changing a primary or secondary server IP address

While you're absolutely right, I did want to add that under some
circumstances you might not see the change.

For example, Domain Bank (and possibly other registrars) store the
nameserver names as a flatfile entry in their database, and not as part
of a relational database checking the actual nameserver address in
realtime.

So, for example, if you've got a domain registered at Domain Bank
pointing to a nameserver and Network Solutions, even though the domain
will use the nameserver at the new address, the Domain Bank whois will
continue to show the old nameserver IP# information until you've
notified Domain Bank.
