LAN hostname resolves to 64.94.110.11

My actual LAN domain name is "designlan.net" I gave a dummy domain
name in the first posting as "mylandomainname.net"

All my users PCs have an Internet DNS server listed under DNS servers.

If you can please tell me as how to do proper resolver configuration,
I would really appreciate it.

Mine is a Windows 2000 network and I do not have my internal DNS
server, which I plan to setup after this issue.
