Need some advise on this#. Assuming a scenario whereby there are more
than 1 DHCP server talking to a DDNS server when updating a FQDN
record. The DHCP are configured in clusters differentiated
geograhically... Therefore, when another DHCP server talks to same
DDNS server on a specific FQDN record, there will be 2 IP addresses
for that one FQDN...
Example of a FQDN with domain hello.com
- abcd.hello.com
- IP address is 10.x.x.5 ( From DHCP 1 )
- IP address is 10.x.x.4 ( From DHCP 2 )
In short, a FQDN record with 2 IP addresses is un-desirable.. Anyway
to enforce the DDNS to hold one 1 IP address record ? thx@
