Bind 9 on RH9 dying

I am curious about what to look at. We've been running BIND 9 for about
a year without a hitch, within the past couple of weeks the daemon has
been dying for no apparent reason, we attempt to HUP the process and
bring it back up and it won't come up. When we force a reboot of the box
all processes restart. My work around now is to cron a reboot once a
week.=20

There does not appear to be any hardware problems.=20

I have a primary and secondary, my secondary is running NTP, NTP has
been having problems. Same scenario dying in the vine. Not sure which
came first the chicken or the egg. =20
