Glue records with IPs are needed for ns1.* and ns2*. The ns* name servers
run bind to resolve the IP for your domain.

Some registrars allow you to enter glue (IPs) for the ns* via an online
interface, and for some its manual (you have to phone/email them).

www.godaddy.com and www.netregistry.com.au have online interfaces for this.
