	If that were true, then the ISC BIND FAQ wouldn't have an entry 
for "Zone transfers from my BIND 9 master", and there wouldn't be an 
option for "transfer-format one-answer;".

	IXFR doesn't work correctly outside of BIND-9, that's true. 
However, there can also be some issues with correctly interpreting 
the AXFR from a BIND-9 server.
