Too quick delete

I thought I could do a little clean-up. All I had to do was restore the
folders and permissions leading to named.pid and re-soft-link the named
directory under /var/lib/named/var -- it is kind of a circular link and
I thought it was the result of some of my untarring. Dosged a bullet
this time. Live and learn. Thanks all.

Is there any way to rescue a BIND 9.2.3 SuSE system after accidentally
deleting the nested /var under /var/lib/named? Please advise.
