GNUDIP, perhaps. Looks like it uses RFC 2136/2137 protocol. It's

http://dns.prout.be/ also offers a public DDNS service and is similarly 
unmaintained.

I made my own with a CGI authentication page which if successful runs 
nsupdate(8). Clients wget(1) their URL with username and password 
included. Insecure, but this being a private service I don't worry.
