Sub-domain lookups

Do you have forwarding enabled in your options statement, and are those 
subdomains actually sub*zones*? If so, then what may be happening is 
that named is forwarding queries in those subzones. You may need to 
disable forwarding selectively for domain2.com by adding "forwarders {
