*** POKED TIMER ***

I have one machine, running Debian Etch with bind9 version
1:9.3.4-2etch1 installed. I have begun to get frequent
"*** POKED TIMER ***" messages in my logs.
Searching the internet does not pull up anything useful, there are a few
people who say that its a freebsd issue (obviously not) and to look in
their archives. I did look in their archives, but its specific to
freebsd and doesn't apply here. I've searched this list's archives for
ideas, and am out of ideas of what to do.
I have this same version installed on the same hardware, running the
same operating system revision.
I'm looking for suggestions, or mechanisms to debug this. Clearly
something is not working right here, and I'd like to get it resolved and
offer up as a sacrifice to the great search engines in the sky the
answer so that in the future when I encounter this problem again I am
able to search and find my own post and the answer.
