Unfortunately, it died within a minute on a Solaris 2.6 host here, with
Oct 12 07:58:13 nac.no named[13938]: ns_update.c:1364: REQUIRE(!EMPTY(*updlist)) failed.

This host certainly doesn't have any update enabled.
The core dump is still available for further analysis if necessary.
