hmm, it appears none of the subprocesses is seeing the shutdown message sent by
the boss process; apparently when subscribing as a specific instance, you don't
get messages sent to (<channel>, "*"), i'm not sure whether this is a bug or
wrong usage of the cc (in case of the last, i have another feature request
michael ;) )
i've changed the boss to send two shutdown commands to specific instances
(ConfigManager and ParkingLot), the msgq daemon is still killed with a signal (i
don't think it's acting on command channel commands, and am not sure it should)
