Status
  completed initial implementation of major feature components
  including:
  + add truncation support
  + add TCP transport support
  + add IPv6 transport support
  + wrote detailed test cases for data sources, including fixes and
    cleanups
  + PTR RDATA support (this is pretty minor)
  After feature freeze on Monday, I've been continuing overall
  cleanups.  Right now I'm focusing on the main code of authoritative
  server.  I'm adding stricter validation of incoming requests, adding
  unit tests.

Plan
  basically, whatever necessary for the year 1 release next week.  but
  in general what I'm specifically intending to do is:
  overall cleanups, adding test cases, bug fixes and documentation.
  specifically:
  - more tests for the authoritative server
  - more cleanups and bug fixes for the data source code
  - add more detailed tests for the DNS message class implementation
  - provide decent level documentation for the DNS message class
  - ...and complete outstanding code review as necessary
