Ok, first off I've been thinking about writable data sources, and, while
I was at it, also gave some thoughts to the current datasource model
(not that much though), and the result of that has been the 3 messages I
sent out earlier this week on this list.

Secondly, I've been working on the python wrappers, which I now have
nearly ready to be used in xfrout, and I am converting that, but
currently running into some snags (right now a segfault which has to do
with a workaround for not having a copy constructor in RRset), during
which I also found a lot of thing in the dns API which might warrant
some consideration, about which I'll send out a different message (or
perhaps confer with jinmei first).
