Just to be clear, we want to get all of your fixes in, but trac826
doesn't patch cleanly, and we like smallish fixes anyway. I apologize
for not taking more attention earlier, and we'll try to prioritize
submitted fixes and patches in the future!

If you think it makes sense to re-base trac826 from master then maybe we
can consider just applying that as an alternate course of action.
