Do you mean AX_BOOST_INCLUDE we currently have in examples/m4?  If so,
I was thinking about the same thing in this context.  It would be
helpful to improve readability of configure.ac even not for this
particular purpose, and I think this is indeed a nice opportunity to
introduce such cleanup.
