I'm not sure I understand correctly, but it seems to me a feature where you
could store snapshots of previous versions of zones and revert to them is what
this is about.
I guess this could be kind of handy feature for some kind of testing and it
would be done easier with the file-based approach than the shared memory one. We
would just store the old files and switch to them when needed. Even without
direct support from the tool, we could just replace the file under its hands for
experiments.
But maybe I get the idea wrong (but I guess this one could still be useful for
some things).
