We currently have Python 3.1 as a dependency. Bumping it to Python 3.2
 gives us
some new features such as use of **`with`** statement on socket objects
 and verbosity options in
 unit tests (among others).

We have to check if Python 3.2 is old enough that it is available in
various distros. Maybe we should also ask our users what they think about
 moving to Python 3.2.
