Comment:

 Merged.

 I added ticket #1840 and #1841 (and there already was #1837). Not sure if
 we should add a task for multiple *types* of database at this point, I
 think we should create that ticket when we actually start implementing a
 different type of backend :)

 If I missed any other followup tasks, please feel free to add them :)
