Comment:

 Sorry for the late answer.

 I have just one small thing. In the `test_inmem_backend_type_is_missing`
 test, if we leave out the filetype, it defaults to textual zone file.
 Therefore the `.sqlite3` extension is slightly misleading. Could you
 change it?

 I think it is OK to merge after this small change (I don't need to review
 this).
