 We probably want to have some kind of internal/invisible configure
 options, as well as internal commands (which we didn't implement yet).

 So my proposal would be to add either some kind of „hidden: true“ option
 for the spec file, so it would not be shown to user. Or, have a new type,
 let's call it „generation“. It would be number, but bindctl wouldn't show
 it, cfgmgr would reject setting it directly and it would auto-increment it
 every time the thing changes. These are more systematic solutions and they
 don't confuse the user.

 However, all three approaches seem to benefit from the proposed classes
 for configuration data.
