linux packet filter settings

Hello! I am having problems with the ISC 3.0.2 relay duplicating
packets when using two relays in a series. I suspect the problem has
to do with the Linux packet filter, lpf. In the Berkely packet filter,
you can do an ioctl to avoid seeing packets that you sent. Can this be
done in lpf as well? Code example?

(I am running the relay on an x86 server machine, Redhat Enterprise
Linux, kernel 2.6.11).
