we'd like to make a feature request (with patch):


relay-to-giaddr flag

The Irelay-to-giaddr parameter controls whether or not to respond
to the giaddr or the src IP when recieving a packet from a dhcp relay.
Set this to off if the server should respond to the src IP of the
packet. The relay-to-giaddr parameter is on by default.

the final post (on oct 15 2004) by myself contains a reference to the
patch. the patch has been in use since august 2004 at two universities.
we've been working on a release of netpass and wanted to request that
this feature be added to the current beta release so we don't have to
distribute a separate patch in the future.
