I have been using false instead of true. Other than that, the syntax is
fine. I have been doing DHCP/SLP for a couple years now. A suggestion
that I would have is to examine on the dhcp server. There is a nice
little utility that will decode a tcpdump trace for dhcp called dhcpdump

An example from my linux workstation (dhclient with no novell slp):
