LeaseQuery bug (?) in 3.1.0a3

OS version is 2.6.9-1.667
DHCP Server Version 3.1.0a3
I am using a regular w2k PC client, this is connected to a cable modem, the
modem is connected to an Arris C3 CMTS and this generates the leasequery.

As soon as I set the client interface to DHCP it sends the DHCP discover etc
and gets the correct DHCP. The CMTS then automatically sends a leasequery
and the server crashes with the following -d output. Although the leasequery
cannot be seen in the following output it can be seen in an ethereal capture
(attached).

DHCPDISCOVER from 00:c0:9f:47:b2:5b via 192.168.144.4
DHCPOFFER on 192.168.144.9 to 00:c0:9f:47:b2:5b via 192.168.144.4
DHCPREQUEST for 192.168.144.9 (10.1.1.26) from 00:c0:9f:47:b2:5b via
192.168.144.4
DHCPACK on 192.168.144.9 to 00:c0:9f:47:b2:5b via 192.168.144.4
Internal inconsistency: storage value has not been initialized to zero (from
dhcpleasequery.c:266).

If I then restart the server and try some pings from the client (which now
has it's IP address, so it does not send another discover) then the
leasequery can be seen in the -d output of the server. However the server
new sends leaseunknown responses.

DHCPLEASEQUERY from 192.168.144.4 for IP 192.168.144.9
DHCPLEASEUNKNOWN to 192.168.144.4 for IP 192.168.144.9 (0 associated IPs)
DHCPLEASEQUERY from 192.168.144.4 for IP 192.168.144.9
DHCPLEASEUNKNOWN to 192.168.144.4 for IP 192.168.144.9 (0 associated IPs)
