DHCP INFORM method might be integrated into the client
for the next release.

IMHO, there is one thing that needs to be taken care
while doing this. The user should be able to send the
INFORM method even when he is not in the dhcp mode.
So, the user should be able to call the dhcp client
with "arguments" such that the client does not send
out other dhcp messages like DISCOVER, REQUEST, etc.
It should send out only the INFORM request. In this
way, the suer will be able to find a wide application
range for the client.

Do let me know if it is a worthy idea, or if it is
already taken care of.
