Good Morning ISC
I am trying to run the ISC DHCP for openwrt( TO RUN ISC DHCP ON TP-LINK N
750) . As mentioned in the ISC DHCP document, download complete package
from ftp://ftp.isc.org/isc/dhcp/dhcp-4.1.0-openwrt.tar.gz, then executed
gunzip dhcp-4.1.0-openwrt.tar.gz and tar xvf dhcp-4.1.0-openwrt.tar. In
this package there is no configure file present,
1. Started dhcpd at /etc/init.d/dhcpd
i got Message which says : can't open lease database
/var/db/dhcpd.leases.
2.Created the /var/db/dhcpd.leases and started again dhcpd at
/etc/init.d/dhcpd
i am getting below message
Wrote 0 deleted host decls to leases file.
Wrote 0 new dynamic host decls to leases file.
Wrote 0 leases to leases file.
No subnet declaration for eth0 (no IPv4 addresses).
** Ignoring requests on eth0. If this is not what
you want, please write a subnet declaration
in your dhcpd.conf file for the network segment
to which interface eth0 is attached. **
3. Followed below steps
/usr/sbin/dhcpd -cf /etc/dhcpd.conf
/usr/sbin/dhcpd -cf /etc/dhcpd.conf eth0
But i still getting same issue
i am getting below message
Wrote 0 deleted host decls to leases file.
Wrote 0 new dynamic host decls to leases file.
Wrote 0 leases to leases file.
No subnet declaration for eth0 (no IPv4 addresses).
** Ignoring requests on eth0. If this is not what
you want, please write a subnet declaration
in your dhcpd.conf file for the network segment
to which interface eth0 is attached. **
May i know where do i find how to use this package information or kindly
guide me how to use this package.
Thanks and Regards
Thiru
