Your nightly report should tell you how fast your CNFS buffers are rolling
over if you run cnfsstat when INN starts, or at least I think that code
was rolled back into 2.2.  If not, you can check by running cnfsstat and
seeing from it how long it takes for the buffers to roll over.

The significance of that information is that when your cycbuffs roll over,
articles are being overwritten and will show up as missing until overview
information is updated.
