Hi,

1) I have download new source of INN from ftp.isc.org (file inn-STABLE-20020303.tar.gz).

2) I have run "configure, make, make install" successfully.

3) I have run "inncheck" with options "-a -perm" to examine configuation file and database. It seem good.

4) I have run the shell script rc.news as the news user. Here is the output:
--------------begin output--------------
Starting innd.
Scheduled start of /usr/local/news/bin/innwatch.
--------------end out put--------------

I see no innd process when run command "ps -A"

5) I user "ctlinnd mode" to check "innd" is running. Here is the output
--------------begin output--------------
No innd.pid file; did server die?
Can't send "mode" command (sendto failure) No such file or directory.
--------------end out put--------------

6) Here is the output when run command "innstat":
--------------begin output--------------
Server status:
No innd.pid file; did server die?
Can't send "mode" command (sendto failure) No such file or directory.
