I think we/you should just pick a fairly standard setting of 'indent'
and run the whole thing through it.  That way there is no problem
for anyone trying to replicate the style in all its details.

It becomes a no-brainer standard, in effect.

It could even be made a part of the checking process.

Because the source for 'indent' is freely available, there should be
NO systems without it.
