Only that you will have one humungous "flag day" where everybody with stuff
that they haven't committed yet will have a hell of a time merging in.  If you
could get everybody to commit before or agree to re-merge manually after,
you'd be fine.

I think it would be worth it, myself, but I'm not working out of the CVS tree.
