Hi, all. This is my first letter.

I'm planning on setting up a new news server. Uhm…

My server is SUN E3500 with 4CPU(400MHz/8M Cache), 2Giga RAM.
Internal Disk is 18GB. My Disk array is STK 9166(1.6TB) by StorageTEK.
I'll use 500GB for news server. How can I make file systems? I am a novice on this filed.

This is my plan.
Internal diak 18G
8G : / for OS and INN, /usr/local/news/db
6G : swap
4G : /user for temporary work

disk array 500G
500G : /usr/local/news/spool

I'd like to listen you opinion. Plz help me. Let me know this problem.

I'd like to know everything of news server.
