You don't want to use the same disk for overview, history and swap. Stripe
a few dedicated disks together for overview and keep history and swap on
seperate disks. What level of RAID do you plan to use on your RAID? Avoid
RAID-5 if you can. We've tried it and it sucks.

You should probably use RAID 0 (striping) for the binariez (since loosing
a few GB of porn and warez isn't a big issue) and RAID 0-1 (mirror and
striping) for the text groups.
