Hmmm, I got this message just before my whole news system shut down (this
was INN 2.2.2, running under FreeBSD 3.2) due to a "too big" history file.
This was the first sign, and started when my history file was about 1.8G.
The whole system shut down with "can't lseek to -1 something or other"
when the history file grew to 2.2G (about a day later). I installed 2.3
(version "09_03-01") with largefile support. I haven't had my news shutdown
since, but I've also kept a close eye on my history file size, so that it
hasn't grown quite so big...now that summer is here, I'm thinking I should
upgrade to a newer version of 2.3 and let the history file grow a bit.

Is anyone running with largefile support and a history file greater than 2.2G?
Anyone doing it under an opsys besides Solaris? I'd really like to know that
this works before I break everything (again!!)...

Liz
