Did that and the overview looks ok for now. But that didn't
solve the problem with the articles that got accepted twice ...
I think the complete history, spool and overview is mangled.
BTW, I saw that several times in the past even when everything
was ok: After a "rc.news stop", there are processes that won't
terminate.

This time it was only one (db_checkpoint), but I've seen more
and different processes. Seen with db-3.0.55 as well as with
db-3.1.14.
