I don't believe that it's possible to get this effect using the
authentication system in INN 2.2; it's just not set up for this. It may
be possible to do it with the Perl authentication, but I haven't tried.
In INN 2.3 it should be possible, although it will require some working
through readers.conf. INN 2.3 also supports a separate ckpasswd program
that you can make setgid shadow without having to set nnrpd that way.
There was some recent discussion of how to implement this with
readers.conf on this mailing list.
