With some further experimenting, I got some *very* strange behavior from
the authentication. Notice in the below auth rule, where I specify for the auth
program the absolute path to ckpasswd. When this is done in quotes, it finds
the program, but it dosent work correctly, no one can authenticate. When it is
not in quotes, the innd server reports itself as unavailable. When you just
put "ckpasswd -s", everything works! weird...
