Assuming you are creating a newsgroup for this class, just make it a
moderated newsgroup, and as the moderator's email address just use the
mailing list.  You can then include an approved mail2news feed back to
the newsgroup so that all mailings end up on the newsgroup.  This is
much easier then working with news2mail.
