Innwatch?

In my daily INN emails I keep getting a line that tells me that innwatch 
isn't running.  A "ps -ef |grep inn" verifies that there is not a 
innwatch procress running.  Is this a bad thing?  Is there a way this 
needs to be configured to make it run correctly?  The man page says its 
some type of monitoring process for INN, which I would assume would be a 
good thing.
