I tried running this script to fix my high/low values I'm seeing and I get
the following errors:

printf: 2147483648: Numerical result out of range

And then it sticks the bad values back in to

[Assuming that you are using tradspool]

This errormsg usually means, that the hi/lo numbers in the active file are
not correct for certain newsgroups. So the server tries to create a file
already exists.

There is a short script in the inn-workers archive ( that
help you with your problem.
