CNFS mmap allocation problem and kernel panic

And how could I try to solve this or make sure it is related to this issue ?

The kernel has been compiled with high memory support enabled (64G), can 
this be a source of the problem or should it be a solution to it ?

We have also noticed on this box that kswapd is often called (runtime is 
quite high), but the virtual memory actually used remains low (50M out of 
2G), can this be a sign of the issue you mention ?

Do you see other ways to get around this problem ?  Increasing physical ram 
?  Increasing the size of the swap ?
