Problems rebuilding history

I'm not sure how the new overview method could cause problems with
generation of the history file; the code paths are pretty distinct.  I
don't know what would cause this, though.

I'm sorry to have gotten pretty behind on inn-workers at the moment.  I'm
going to try to find time this week to take a look at the various
outstanding bugs.
