This might be the same bug that I sent the little patch in for that sets 
fd[1] to -1 -- but I think that one could happen only if you are _not_ 
using inndstart.

(unpatched, innd run without -d would read bogus descriptors into its 
table.)

If you _are_ using inndstart, never mind.
